Most cottage rental sites you find when you’re searching the Kawarthas are run by booking platforms, property managers, or absentee owners who hand the place off to a cleaner between guests. This isn’t one of those. Mildred’s is rented and run directly by me — no booking middleman, no property manager, no off-season ghosts.
Why this matters for you
If you contact us about availability, you’re talking to me. If something breaks at the cottage during your stay, you text me. If a review needs replying to, I’m the one writing back. What I know about Rice Lake
I’ve spent years on Rice Lake. I know which docks have water deep enough to swim off in early June. I know what the bass move under in different weather. I know which roads turn into gravel halfway in (most of them) and which gas station has the cleanest washroom on the way in from Toronto. About the property
Mildred’s Lakefront Resort Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 600 sq ft cottage on Rice Lake inside Bellmere Winds Golf Resort, 90 minutes northeast of Toronto. Sleeps 6. Direct waterfront access to the resort’s beach and shared multi-slip dock. Free canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Full access to all Bellmere Winds amenities — saltwater pool, splash pad, sports court, fitness centre, on-site restaurant, and the 18-hole championship golf course.
